Ministry of the public health of Afghan announced the recent vomiting and diarrhea affecting 5000 and causing death of 22 persons as a “weak cholera”.
According to the resource the out break which hit Nooristan , Hearat , Baghlan , Khost , Samangan , Parwan , Laghman , Nimrooz ,Nangarhar , Balkh and Kunar now it is partly under control . Dr. Abdulah the spokes man of the ministry said in news conference in 22 of Mizan the vomiting and diarrhea spread in five provinces of ( Nooristan , Samangan,Nangarhar , Laghman and Faryab) while some hand full cases discovered in Khost, Parwan , Balkh ,Kunar , Nimrooz, Sari Pul and Kabul as well.
Dr. Sayed Amin Fatiemi minister of public health disclosed the unknown out break as “weak cholera “5 days after previous announcement of his ministry in a press conference.
During the recent days 1556 persons have been hospitalized while 3400 one treated as out patient in Samangan, Nangarhar , Laghman and Faryab said the spokes man and he add that till now 22 persons was died by out break in all over the country .
No healthy water and environmental protection and returning of affected persons from neighbor countries are as main cause of outbreak according to Fatiemei .
He asked people to use boiled and chlorinated water and in case of vomiting and diarrhea visit doctor in clinic as soon as possible.
