The salamati magazine has entered in its fifteenth year experiencing huge demands of number of copies as a sustainable health education tools for Community Health Worker (CHW) s concurrently. The magazine was published in Pashwar of Pakistan in colorful pages and middle size on Dari and Pashto for Afghan health workers containing various types of topics firstly. It used to continue the line until 21th which was dedicated to CHWs in 35th issue following implementation of Community Based Health Care (CBHC) program in Afghan health system and a supplement was added for Health Facilities (HF)s staffs with more technical angles in plus .
Currently, the salamati is published with 26000 copies of magazines and 8000 copies of supplement in Dari, Pashto and English as sustainable reference published for CHWs and HFs staffs in allover of country.
The magazine has been acting as dynamic and active part of Aide Medicale Internationale(AMI) in release of update, accurate and the most essential tools for CHWs .
Salamati team is pleasant in making slamati popular with its highly qualified contents and quenching of readers needs.
There is constantly proposition on increasing number of copies and till now some of the pre printed issues have been reprinted. We hope we can expand our readership line to have a salamati for kids as well.
